Throughout her career, Lynette has amassed a diverse portfolio of commercial and fine art photography. Beginning in the late nineties, Lynette mastered polaroid transfers before moving on to other alternative processes such as the tintype and cyanotype and traditional hand colouring of images. She now specialises in a range of alternative photographic processes, running workshops both locally and internationally.

Adding to her specialisation, Lynette has a Ph.D. in historical studies, her topic: the instant image: a critical and creative exploration of the one-off photographic image. Her thesis was an historical inquiry into alternative processing since the emergence of photography as a science and art form.

An accomplished lecturer in photography and design, Lynette has worked at RMIT, PSC and  Swinburne University. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with her partner Peter.
